The sheep butter molds are most popular during the spring time. Here in the Chicago area, many grocery stores carry sheep molded butter for Easter. But with our butter molds, you can now make your own at home any time you want!

For the best results, we recommend coating the butter mold with oil and then wipe clean with a cloth. Place in the freezer for 1-2 hours and let your butter soften at room temperature. Remove the mold from the freezer and press butter into mold. Return the mold to the freezer for 4-5 hours. Once the butter is hard, let the mold sit at room temperature for 15-30 minutes before removing the butter. Wash the mold by hand with water. Lay flat to dry, turning while it dries to prevent warping.
